
The Best Fudge

12 oz. evaporated
milk, lg. can
4 ½ c. sugar
2 pkg. choc. Chips, 12 oz.
1 lbs butter
3 tsp vanilla
option 2 cups nuts
option other flavorings
Comb. milk & sugar & boil 10 min. Pour ½ of hot mixture over chips & butter. Stir til butter is melted. Pour in rest of hot mixture & blend. Add flavoring. Beat w/ electric mixer on high for 10 min. Add nuts. Line 9x13 pan w/saran or foil-buttered. Can also use buttered jelly roll pan for thinner pieces. Pour fudge into pan & cool in refrig. Cut into small pieces.
Makes 4 ½ lbs.
