Out Cookies -

1 cup butter
1 ½ cup sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
3 ½ c. flour
2 tsp. cream of tarter
tsp. baking soda
½ tsp. salt
Cream tog. butter
& sugar till light & fluffy. Add eggs, 1 at a time & beat well after
each. Add vanilla.
Mix dry ingred & add gradually to creamed mixture. Divide into 3 parts
& wrap each in wax paper to chill 3-4 hrs. On floured surface roll & do
cut-outs. Bake 375 for 5-6 min. Frosting is: pwd. sugar, vanilla, &
milk.
